Do you feel frustrated with APA format? Does figuring out spacing, margins, indents and punctuation drive you crazy?
Do you wish you had a way to create citations, references, even whole papers without having to worry about these things?
If so, Off Campus Library Services (OCLS) has a tool to help you: Academic Writer. Academic Writer used to be called APA Style CENTRAL.
Academic Writer is an online learning and paper writing system that will help you create your own APA Style Papers with the correct format.
Type information about your paper and sources and Academic Writer automatically formats title pages, References lists, in text citations, margins, etc. When papers are finished, Academic Writer re-creates them as Microsoft Word documents that you export, save to your computer, and turn in through your Brightspace online classroom.
The OCLS APA 6e Guide is provided as a supplement to the 6th ed. Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association. The Guide is provided as a PDF document that can be downloaded here. An overview of the APA 6e Guide and how to navigate to it through the OCLS website is available. Learn more.
