SAGE Ebooks 
A collection of academic ebooks with over 200 titles in health and social care and over 300 titles in management and business. These titles may be viewed in their entirety online or downloaded one chapter at a time.
SAGE Journals Online 
A search platform for over 700 journals that span the Humanities, the Sciences and Social Sciences, Technology, and Medicine. Subjects include: Education, Communication, Management, Nursing, Political Science, Psychology, Social Work and Sociology.
Salem Reference 
Online access to award-winning titles from Salem reference, including topics in <em>Literature, History, Science, Health and Careers.
ScienceDirect 
A database of peer-reviewed journals covering the natural sciences, applied sciences, technology, and the social sciences fields.
Science Reference Center (EBSCO)  
A research database providing easy access to a wealth of full-text, science-oriented content. Designed to meet student researcher's needs, Science Reference Center contains full text for hundreds of science encyclopedias, reference books, periodicals and other reliable sources. In addition, the database includes a vast collection of images from sources such as UPI, Getty, NASA, National Geographic and the Nature Picture Library.
SciTech Connect
A government site providing research related to: biology, chemistry, computer science, defense, energy, engineering, environment, math, medicine, physics and geoscience. Includes 2.5 million citations with links to available articles online.
Sept. 11th Digital Archive
Contains 150,000 first-hand accounts, emails and electronic communications, digital photos, artworks, and other digital materials related to the attacks.
Sheet Music Consortium
A database of sheet music records, with a large portion digitized, providing the music itself and often the covers and advertisements that give cultural context to the music. Students may search for "digitized" music only.
Short Story Index (H.W. Wilson) (EBSCO)
Provides detailed indexing for hundreds of thousands of short stories, this database is an essential resource for readers seeking short stories by author or genre, and for those researching the body of work of a particular literary figure.
Slavery in America and the World: History, Culture & Law (HeinOnline) 
This HeinOnline collection brings together a multitude of essential legal materials on slavery in the United States and the English-speaking world. This includes every statute passed by every colony and state on slavery, every federal statute dealing with slavery, and all reported state and federal cases on slavery. The cases go into the 20th century, because long after slavery was ended, there were still court cases based on issues emanating from slavery.
