Ulrichsweb Global Serials Directory 
A database providing details on over 300,000 periodicals of all types, from newspapers to trade publications to journals. Includes: publisher, subjects, databases where available, reviews, tables of contents and peer-reviewed or "refereed" status.
UN Data
United Nations database of member state statistics related to: agriculture, crime, education, employment, energy, environment, health, HIV/AIDS, human development, industry, information and communication technology, population, refugees, and trade
UN Documents Search
A database providing access to the resolutions of the United Nations General Assembly, Security Council, Economic and Social Council, and Trusteeship Council from 1946 forward. Also includes documentation from meetings of the aforementioned bodies and global U.N. conferences.
UN Treaty Collection
A United Nations database holding multilateral treaties deposited with the Secretary-General, the United Nations Treaty Series (includes the League of Nations Series), and other international agreements.
UNESCO Institute for Statistics

Advanced search screen for finding articles in USA Today search by article or enter a specific date to get all articles for that day.
U.S. Census Bureau
Collects and analyzes social, economic, and geographic data related to the conditions of the United States, states, and counties. Includes: Population & Housing Census - every 10 years, Economic Census - every 5 years, Census of Governments - every 5 years, and the American Community Survey - annually, as well as economic indicator surveys on various schedules
U.S. Government Documents
A portal to the publications of the U.S. Government, like Congressional bills and hearings, presidential documents, U.S. code, Federal regulations, U.S. Court opinions and public/private laws. Core Documents of U.S. Democracy provides links to defining constitutional, congressional, judicial and presidential documents.
USDA Economic Research Service
