24/7 Service Available through OCLS Forms

Fill out this form to request a Personalized Search Plan (PSP).  PSPs help you use the online library and tell you where to go; what to do; and how to do it.   Your PSP will give you step-by-step directions on which online database(s) to use to find trustworthy articles, print or electronic books, and other sources.  Each PSP is customized to your topic and is emailed to your IWU email address within one (1) business day, not including weekends and holidays.  PSP requests received by noon on Friday will be answered the same day.

The same form may be used to request materials on a topic. For example, if you are preparing for a CLEP?DSST/Dantes test, you can ask that one of the OCLS librarians find one or more books on the subject.  Or if you are struggling with grammar or math, you can request books or Web resources that will help you practice these skills.

Most adult learners take their courses online or at one of Indiana Wesleyan's regional education centers.  If you are an online student or if you take classes at one of IWU's regional locations, please contact OCLS when assistance is needed.

The staff of Off Campus Library Services was involved with developing curriculum for remote courses, and OCLS librarians know the typical assignments a student is asked to complete. The OCLS staff have Personalized Search Plans or PSPs developed for a number of these assignments.  Librarians also put custom PSPs together for your specific topic(s).

The OCLS team is trained and equipped to serve students in remote locations, and we encourage you to contact us any time you need search help or if you have APA format questions.
